Please join us the first week of August for 7 days of meditation practice. This mini-retreat will be appropriate for beginners, but will also welcome experienced meditators. Anyone wishing to learn different techniques, expand knowledge of Buddhist philosophy and, create consistency in their daily practice will benefit from this mini-retreat. We will concentrate on seated meditation but also learn the value of walking meditation and mindfulness practice. Based on the Vipassana model for meditation, participants can expect to receive valuable take-home materials to help deepen their understanding of the mind and to inspire clarity, compassion and peace.Join our Friday morning meditation group to further explore mindfulness practice, seated and walking meditation. Some sessions are guided, some are silent. We meditate for the purpose of peace. Om Shanti!
