Supine Techniques (30 hours)
April 15th & 16th, 22nd & 23rd
9am-1pm and 2-6pm
This course is designed to give students a solid foundation of Thai Yoga Massage as well as the skills and techniques to confidently perform a 60,75, or 90 minute Thai Yoga Massage using Supine Techniques. Students will work in pairs learning body mechanics, compassionate touch, stretching assists, rhythmic compression of soft tissue, and other techniques to deliver healing and therapeutic touch.
Thai Yoga Massage blends elements of Massage, Yoga, and Ayurveda to create a dynamic and holistic practice whose affects are felt body-wide. Thai Yoga Massage optimizes the body’s own ability to heal and to bring one back into balance physically, mentally and emotionally. Thai Yoga Massage is ideal for athletes and yogis, or for anyone wishing to experience this ancient healing practice.
This is a beginner level course, no experience is necessary. Students must be able to sit comfortably on knees for extended periods of time and be in general good health to participate.
Space is limited to a maximum of 10 students and a minimum of 4 students to be offered.
